How to prolong the service life of single-layer glass reactor

The single-layer glass reactor is used to place the reaction materials, and can be vacuumed for stirring reaction at the same time. The external water (oil) bath can be filled with water or heated oil for heating reaction, and it can control the evaporation and reflux of the reaction solution, with constant pressure feeding and other functions.

How to use the laboratory single-layer glass reactor to extend its service life?

1. Before use, be sure to check whether the equipment accessories are missing, whether the glass parts are damaged, and whether the interfaces of the instrument are consistent according to the packing list.

2. Secondly, do not overtighten each interface of the instrument, and loosen the interface regularly to avoid long-term locking and causing jamming.

3. When wiping each interface, use a clean soft cloth. After wiping, apply a little vacuum grease to enhance lubrication.

4. Clean the sea lring regularly. When cleaning, first enter the lower seal ring, check whether there is dirt on the shaft, and then wipe it with a soft cloth and apply a little vacuum grease. After reinstalling, the seal ring and shaft can be kept lubricated.

5. Do not overtighten the PTFE switch on each interface to avoid damaging the glass.

6. After stopping, loosen the PTFE switch, because long-term static electricity can cause the PTFE piston to deform.

7. When in use, please let the glass reactor run from slow to fast, and then turn off the switch after the standby equipment stops completely.

8. After use, please wipe the dirt, grease and solvent residue on the surface with a soft cloth in time.

9. Do not cause serious malfunctions due to water in electrical components.

10. When inspecting the instrument, make sure to turn off the power and water source.
