Common problems with glass reactors – easily solved

When the power switch is turned on, the indicator light does not illuminate.

External power supply not connected or poor contact

Have a professional electrician check the power supply and sockets.

Fuse short-circuited

Turn the power switch to the OFF position and replace the fuse.

The power indicator light is on, but the device does not rotate.

Rotary shaft rust

Stop using it and contact the supplier.

Motor and electrical box malfunction

Five-pin plug not connected

Reconnect the five-pin plug

The vacuum suddenly disappeared.

The glass is cracked, and the switch is damaged.

Inspect the glass components and replace the switch.

A vacuum existed, but it couldn't be created.

The sealing ring is worn, and there is a leak in the vacuum switch connection.

Please replace the sealing ring and the switch.

Vacuum sometimes exists and sometimes does not exist

There is dirt on the steel shaft and the connector is loose.

Please clean any dirt and check the vacuum gauge and vacuum pump.

Vacuum hose aging

Please replace the vacuum hose.

Main spindle is loose.

Loose tightening screws

Tighten

Motor temperature is too high (room temperature plus 40°C is normal).

Overload

Stop the machine and manually rotate the shaft. Check if it feels heavy. Clean the dirt from the contact area between the seal ring and the glass shaft, and apply vacuum grease.

Speed display does not match actual speed.

Unstable voltage, inherent error

Casing is electrified.

Cracked heating element, water ingress
